The 2nd @ArtGuildPH Co-sponsored Project: Art Workshop for Street Children
Part of my goal for running @artguildph is to sponsor art workshops all around the Philippines. We've already done one back in Davao 2 months ago, see: The First @ArtGuildPH Co-sponsored Project: Art Workshop. Now, we're helping out our fellow Steemian @aalagenesis in her project this coming May to provide a free art workshop for street children. This will happen in Manila, Philippines around Luneta Park.
@aalagenesis, together with her artist friends have conducted art exhibits to raise funds for cancer patients and other people who needed financial support in the last 2 years. This year, they would like to extend their blessings to the street children around Manila by conducting a simple art workshop and program.

Handling crayons, pencils and other art materials have been one of the most enjoyable part of every childhood. Several artists have bloomed because they were inspired when they held an art material since they were young. Unfortunately, there were children who cannot even have their decent pencil and crayon stick because of poverty.
In line with that, she and her friends along with some Steemians like @deveerei are planning to have simple art workshop for the street children of Manila. We are targeting to cater and assist more or less 50 of them and teach them some art through lessons that we're planning to conduct this summer. We would like to share our skills that potentially may have an impact on their lives. We believe that they have talents that may still be hidden and we want to help them unleash their creativity through this workshop.
Together, we're aiming to raise Php20,000 or around $400 for this project. If we're able to raise more than that, then that will be amazing!
