Art Guild PH - Workshop and Fundraiser - See How Art Can Help the World!
Art Guild PH is proud to tell you guys that our very first co-sponsored project has been a great success! It is a fund-raiser for a Charity Art Workshop that will be held in Davao, Philippines and will be handled by @kennik and company.
Kennik has published a report in a form of a post that contains a tally of all the rewards and donations we received for this project: CHARITY REPORT! #2 The SBD Break Down.
This is a collective effort made possible by a few Steemians banding together with the support of @steemph, @steemph.davao, @artguildph, @bayanihan, and @sndbox. We are glad that we have exceeded the target funds for this project and it's amazing how we succeeded in this crowdfunding project. We're now at the planning phase of this project and we will be waiting for @kennik to give us an update on the Art Workshop itself.
Any rewards from this post will be used to fuel another art workshop, this time it will be a project by @aalagenesis, who is a known artist and charity advocate as well, she has made exhibits that raises funds for a variety of beneficiaries.
In fact, she is currently helping out on a fundraising campaign for the children of Albay: Share the Happiness Advocacy: A Fund Raising Activity for the Children of Albay (Mt. Mayon).
We are all aware of the eruption of Mayon Volcano happened this year affecting the lives of our fellow kababayan. Mayon Volcano has been erupting, spewing out the lava and volcanic ash to the surface. The locals living inside the radius of the dangerous area have been forced to evacuate the said premises for their safety.
This project was spearheaded by a 9-year old named David Carrillo. Do check out @aalagenesis's page for more information about this project.

Rest assured you will have my continued support for the success of your workshops, charities and fund-raisers. It is just but heartwarming to know that inspite the awful spread of pessimism and negativity, there are still people like you guys who is thinking of the greater good. This is literally faith in humanity restored. Art is no longer just an expression but also a form of beneficial elements.
Keep up this great advocacy! Art brings beautiful results, aside from being a pure artist in traditional design those who will benefit from the workshop, might become leaders in other industry, with the strong foundation in art, it molds their aesthetic inclination that will keep them be an advocate to peace and peace brings prosperity.

This is amazing. I do development for arts organizations and individual artists (I also am an artist). One of the reasons I joined steemit is to find innovative ways that people are supporting the arts and generating new contributed revenue streams. This is a fascinating case study. Followed! Can’t wait to read more.
