Altered Course (2018)

Sometimes we need to...

Just finished this drawing today and wanted to show you some progress shots I made. It's hard to exactly explain how my workflow goes but it's somehow chaotic and automatic. I just start to draw and the journey begins. :D

I made this on a4 paper with pencils. Below you can see some shots while I was working on it :)

I love improvisation too! The results are beautiful and totally unexpected. When putting to much mind in it the results come out pretty different.

Yeah it's like watching a movie which isn't predictable. Surprising yourself with the outcome. It's like your unconscious mind is making something and sending you a message :)

Heel herkenbare manier van werken. Ik vind het fijn als mijn werk een actie en reactie wordt zonder vooropgezet plan. Het geeft een gevoel van natuurlijke groei van het werk. Tof werk en goed gedaan!

Dank je wel! Ja dan heb je alle vrijheid en zie je iets ontwikkelen wat je van tevoren niet hebt bedacht. Het hoeft ook niet aan het bedacht beeld te voldoen wat natuurlijk nooit zo wordt wat ook wel fijn is. :)
