Weekend fun - make it tube

I will continue my art projects, especially since yesterday I found an additional reason for this. Climbing to the oldest hard drive, I found one interesting experiment. He did not receive continuations, and I finally forgot about him. And now I got a little fun from it. I hope it will cheer you up a little)



This method is very simple - translation into polar coordinates. Everything happens in one click. The only negative is that the scar is formed, at the place where the right edge of the picture is joined to the left. In many respects because of him I abandoned this method in the past. But it is possible, as it turned out it is easy to solve by mirroring.

Well, then I broke through, and I started trying on everything, trying to find the scope of applicability. But first I will show the original version of the first picture. That was rolled into a tube)

The option with the landscapes turned out to be almost a win-win, but I wanted something else. By this, the hands themselves reached out to underwater photographs. Common features of the landscapes are the photographs in half a water, the split. That's where I started to fiddle with them. And the result, it seems to me, is more than interesting. A water pipe surrounded by an underwater world.



But almost abstract pictures, such as the water surface in the rays of the setting sun, can turn out quite amusing. The edges of the image that are blurred are a little in the way. But they can either be darkened or filled with the same picture.



Well, in the end, you can try and very abstract subjects. Initially, this is an underwater macro photograph. But in the end she reminded me of an insect more.



But still options with the underwater world capture me more) There is in them some special charm. After all, our familiar world is also surrounded by water)

I know that such experiments are not generally accepted positively. But they agree that they help us to look at things that are usual to us quite differently. And this, in turn, helps us a little in new shootings.
