Ocean in the ocean

in #art6 years ago (edited)

Today is Sunday, which means time to tell about my favorite visual experiments with photos.

I suddenly rolls around and there is an obsession. I see an image that must be tested. After that, all the deeds, truthfully and not truthfully, are moved to the background. Yesterday, incidentally, a picture flashed before my eyes, that's all. I ran photoshop and started to try. The technician of imposing and combining is many, but little that falls on underwater pictures. Water is a rather complex background, and only at first glance it seems that it is uniform.

But here I came up with another solution, borrowed from the portraits. Night shots and pictures taken at depths with poor lighting were used. In this case, the main source of light are flares, making a rather hard transition from the illuminated object to the dark background.

This is the dark background I used. The truth is before making it white. This is much easier technically and does not require any additional action. Plus, the division with the main image by tonality is preserved.

Well, the final stage, for which all and started-the very imposition. The combination of two images of the ocean, where the general and the particular are interchanged, and the outer becomes internal. I agree that not all, made in a hurry, examples are successful. Otherwise, it could not be. But you will agree, there is something in such images where ordinary fish portraits acquire a new meaning and a new life.

Maybe it will pour into something, or it may remain a single breakdown. It is difficult to foresee this. In the meantime, I just enjoy watching these pictures, which is what I wish for you)

When I collect enough Steam-dollars and held a large exhibition.
Last year I did a small personal exhibition in Moscow. But even in such a cheap format it is very difficult.
