I tell you what - if there's one thing that we artists get more accused of than anything else, then it's narcissism. Because so much of your artistic process is self-centered and plays within our heads, it can be tempting to neglect others and what they have to offer on this beautiful platform. The result of this is devastating. Why? Every action, that each one of us is taking here on Steemit has a direct effect on the value of the platform (and hence, even indirectly affects the price of Steem), which is why we should take our responsibility as curators very seriously.

We are not only content creators! As curators, we are expected to up or at least maintain the value of this platform by upvoting, sharing and resteeming what we think to deserve to be more seen by more people. So, that's what I do now. Below you will find a comprehensive list of all the awesome artists I stumbled upon since I start as a Steemian in August 2017. Something to spice up your feed with some awesome, inspirational content, if you will. As this post is dynamic, make sure to visit it back every once in a while so that you don't miss out on any of these awesome artists. Now enough of the talking, here we go!

@leoplaw
Leo is a self-taught artist that had been creative in many fields. However, his main passion is making paintings (yet, he gladfully also forces himself to do some drawings from time to time) Apart from that, he is also quite active on DTube, sharing his advice in an uncomplicated and honest way with the good old vlogging-style. Leo is a must follow on this platform! And if that didn't convince you yet, check out some of his work that I posted below!

"On the Eve" Leo Plaw, 24 x 30cm, oil on canvas. Source Post

Being both, an artist and what he calls an 'Artrepreneur', Adam creates colourful Mandalas. The story behind how he developed his style is also quite humorous - by doodling little patterns on post-it notes while working at different call centers. Eventually he tried painting them on canvas, although he rather thought of them as doodles than real art (I'm glad he did it anyways). You can see some of his work posted right below!

@denniskonstantin
One of my more recent discoveries is the German painter Dennis Konstantin. Devoted to the so called “Quantum Realism”, Dennis has a vivid color spectrum and produces visionary art. Rooted somewhere between Cubism and Futurism, he transfers his latest insights of quantum physics and eastern philosophy into a layered, bright and ambient paintings.

How could I not put the infamous Kaylin on this list. No seriously, you should check out her drawings. She also published an Adult Colouring Book quite recently, which is just hilarious. Kaylin has done so much to the (arts) community here on Steemit, and continues to amaze me with new posts. She also publishes a lot about self appreciation these days, which is more than important in the days of social media.

This is her book, you can buy it here.

@yakubenko
Another recent discovery is the art of Dashulya Yakubenko. Honestly, there are only few great watercolour artists out here on Steemit. Dashulya is definately one of them. Also, she posts nearly daily, so be ready to have your mind blown away occasionally!

This is her portrait of @kaylinart Source Post.

This is a painting called Tree-Woman Source Post.

And that's it for now. Please let me know if there are other artists that I should feature on this list - just send it to me in a comment and I will add him/her. You'd be also pleased to know that I added every artist on this list to the beneficiaries of this post, so that they get rewards for your upvote.
