Morning Drawing - Bain de bouche de jésuite
Sometimes I feel completely void of creative energy. My tax authority paranoia is one of the things that really drains me... another is when people begin complaining about me not using the Not-Safe-For-Work tag. That just happened on Diaspora with this innocent drawing that I also posted here.
But somehow I found a bit of energy after all. So this drawing is not about real Jesuits - more like a subtle commentary on Internet Jesuits...
"Nobody's safe for work"
The only thing NSFW in this picture is that beard! ....JK
:)
Especially plumbers

We call this 'the norge' and I can honestly say that my plumber and our handyman BOTH exhibit this often; their badge of honour!
"Norge" is the name of Norway in Swedish, Danish and Norwegian!
😳
Nope...
Danger, Danger!
😱!
I think you are known as someone else on that other site looking at the comments. I can guess who you are!

Yes, a few very old users do know who I am. The rest of them doesn't. I have been there for six years or so and my anonymity is mainly to keep the art apart :)
There are people here who know who I am too. Vincent @vcelier visited me and my family for four days in the spring. https://steemit.com/travel/@vcelier/my-life-today-visiting-katharsisdrill-and-his-family-in-copenhagen
I don't even know who I am, lol, I'd never know who you are :)
No, exactly. For my part nothing much to know really. But if you ever travel to Copenhagen it is another matter of course :) I always enjoy when the envoys of the ancient plane walking powers drop by.
Man, what is going on in your tax-invaded mind??
Btw, I saw the diaspora post you linked, but I was enchanted by an older post of yours: "35 Circular Ornaments" those excellent b&w drawings made with multi-brush in Krita; they are all AMAZING and should be used all over, perhaps your Phill comics, too?
Oh, yes they are there to pick up and abuse. I do have some Celtic ornaments now and then in Phill, but mainly new ones.
I definitely have to read Phill from the beginning, I find the premise and implementation very interesting! Reminds me a lot of Illuminatus! Trilogy the best trilogy ever written in this planet.
I hope you do read it. I have a loooong list of things I need to read, but the lluminatus! Trilogy has been on it since you mentioned it the first time.
@steevc and others have also said that the books of Charles Stross should also be similar, but I haven't even had time to read them even though they lie at my piano :(
I had to laugh at your comments (as I followed your link and read your responses) and the "US Puritan" thing is funny and sort of true. It's odd, too, as I often think of the UK as so much more a "christian" country than the US in the sense of culture such as they have nativity scenes in public spaces and say Merry Christmas, which oddly is NOT the case in USA.
So, it's a sort of sham set of 'christian' virtue that, like much of USA, is just a Disney land prop made up for show. Meanwhile, US movies are so overtly sexualized but in a way that combines violence, if it is nudity connected with love, it's a no no, but if it's torture or extreme fantasy/war, then bring it on. Also only Female nudity I might odd.
The US is an odd place and even though I am an citizen and my ancestors were also those first Puritans, I never have felt really American, in that so much of the general ideals just never feel like my own...I say happily sat in the UK as I type this :)
The truth is that these so called guidelines are a strange combination of politically correct corporate culture, and a lowest denominator of some kind of Christian fantasy morals. I just wrote a long rant and it was much more about the upper middle class in the western world than it is solely a US thing. Then I deleted it.
The US is a weird place in so many ways - but not in bad ways. I love the US craziness and cultural confusion. Only sad thing is that there is so many scars and so much pain that keep popping up. The only wars you ever had on your own soil was civil wars.
That whole nfsw kerfuffle on diaspora is mind-numbingly dumb ; w;
"Oh no! Someone saw me look at a boob on my phone/'puter! I am now a social deviant ; o; !"
Anyhow, this image is mersmerising. I can't say I understand it, but I find it fun to look at :D
Yes, agree completely - grown ups should be able to handle a free medium without refering to nuns and children.
And thank! Happy you like it.
I dont know what's going on in here. Is he emitting or is he being fed things? Either way, it is great, and I like it :D
It is a mouthwash, sprinkling holy water on his teeth!
