Hollow - Evening drawing
So I am back to making some drawings. Here is a classic black and white Katharsisdrill, made in the nauseating heat while my kitchen was filled with teenagers and I listened to Swedish black metal on my headphones.

If you get the chance you should see the whole portrait. The most hilarious part is when he drags the whiny camera team up on the fjeld to show them a cabin his grandfather build :)

Yeah, I partly watched it and then remembered, that I've seen it before. The mountain tour was really hilarious.
I especially thought about the last sentence of the coming-out interview.
For some people (like my parents) being gay is still a sin, so I particularly wrote today's #musicwaybackchallenge post about that fact.
The part about your parents was surprising to me. Interesting how we slowly get to know each other through the internet. I just wrote a long comment to Roused, and it strikes me just now how personal it really is even though it just is about music.
Indeed very interesting. I had a cyber-romance once in the early (AOL) days of the internet, but we soon started to use the phone to get to know us better (and flirt). Besides that, I never had such a deep and long-lasting internet-friendship before. I wonder, if it's because of the Steemit platform or just a coincidence.
It might be the anonymity. I think you pay more attention to the things that interests the person you are not able to see or hear...

True! I try using Diaspora from time to time, but the comment system without threads and mentions makes it really hard for me to keep a conversation going.
They have mention now, but development is very slow. Idealistic project are always the ones that get least support.
Looks good! What did you use to ink that? Looks like maybe a crowquil?
It is digital, but I did use an equivalent to the crow quill - I saw a video where Moebius used one, so I wanted to incorporate it. I have also been inspired by @mikkolyytinen's work. he really makes some beautiful quill drawings.
Until now when working analogue I have always exclusively used European or Chinese sable brushes.
If it doesn't catch a tooth on the papaer and spray ink across the whole thing right when you're just about done, it's not the "equivalent of a crowquil" hahaha.
I use brushes exclusively, but marvel at people who can use a crowquil. I like the effects you can get with them. interesting to know there is a digital option for that. In any case, good work here!
All digital work has this weird lack of mistakes. I plan to make analogue drawing again, maybe even scan and incorporate in my comic (or making a new comic. I did it here: https://steemit.com/comics/@katharsisdrill/gravity-an-unfinished-comic
I also have some quills. Maybe I should make a test drawing today...
