The part about your parents was surprising to me. Interesting how we slowly get to know each other through the internet. I just wrote a long comment to Roused, and it strikes me just now how personal it really is even though it just is about music.

Besides that, I never had such a deep and long-lasting internet-friendship before. I wonder, if it's because of the Steemit platform or just a coincidence.

True! I try using Diaspora from time to time, but the comment system without threads and mentions makes it really hard for me to keep a conversation going.
They have mention now, but development is very slow. Idealistic project are always the ones that get least support.
