RE: Pixel Art Weekly Contest!! Win Steem!!!!! (Week 2)

in #art7 years ago (edited)
GREAT IDEA!

However...

What if I don't like the theme?
What if I submit something that isn't an octopus?
What if it's better than everything else?
Can I submit it every week?
Should I stop asking stupid questions?

Also, can you link to previous week(s)?
Also, also, what was the prize?

Also, also, also, most importantly, can you recommend a good upload image site that I can still retain all my rights, and possibly earn from?

Sort:

For example, I designed my pixel art avatar.

His name is "Ottopush".

And I've got more... never seen by the public, ever, anywhere.

My desktop wallpaper, shrunk here by Steemit, has a background pattern of pixel art:

Thanks. I had already found them today and realized I had seen them before. I meant for you to include those links in your post, say at the bottom, for everyone else, say as incentive, publicity, or something.

Also, shouldn't you wait a week for all the votes to roll in?

What are you talking about in regards to waiting...the post clearly describes how the contest works...votes are only counted over the weekend.

Why? That seems short.

You could overlap - In 1 week you could have 3 posts for 3 contests at 3 different stages: a) theme announcement, b) voting, c) winner announcement.
In this way each of your posts could collect votes and be interactive for a whole week and each contest would actually last 2 weeks plus a congratulations week.

Maybe I'm just talking out my ass. Or thinking with it. I dunno.

Just trying to help.

Nah... Only because I really don't have to let anyone vote... I'm simply doing it for the additonal interaction...to help it build some following.
Besides, with steem contests, people like to win and get paid quickly, not wait weeks for it.
Besides...I literally just started it...as it grows, I'll make changes if I see the need.

It's a week long contest.
You have from Monday to Friday.
People can vote Sat and Sun.
Winner announced Sunday night
Rinse and Repeat.

Octopus is interpretive however...for example you could do doc ock.
Either way, you got some pixel in ya...so enter the contest!

Me, by me.
I don't have pixel in me.

I AM pixel!

(Hear me bore.)

So figure something out for 'Octopus' and win some steem.
Bring your talent to the table.
Your suggestions are appreciated btw...my answers are a lil short because I'm at work.

meh beh

What's the best image hosting site?

I've been using photobucket since it was invented.

Do you keep rights to you images? Can you give it a CC copyleft "share-mix-credit-not-for-profit"?

You maintain rights and grant me permission to use it to promote Pixel Art Weekly

I'm sure you can find a site that better suits your needs. Christ sakes

You'd think it'd be easy. They're all rigged. Seems like you've gotta own your own.
