Wake up! You are a seed of GOD!

I decided to write down some of my thoughts about the state of affairs in the world which was provoked by a comment asking about the meaning of the new music video by one of my favorite artists: Chinese Man.

Well, in my opinion the whole thing points out the contrast between technological advancement of the human race on one hand and the state of the society on the other: It begins with separation leading to egoism, greed, unhealthy competition and destruction of the environment.

The very illusion that we as individuals are separate entities rather than parts of nature as a whole allows us to care only about our own bellies, ignoring everything around. Social conditioning or programming makes us believe we need something that we actually don't and accept those "standardized needs" for our own, which leads to a loss of self-identity, we become a "mass produced program", and any deviation of that is a "standard deviation" as I like to call it.

We are blinded and distracted, forgetting we are all seeds of God at core, powerful and capable beings gifted with the ability to create. This identification with the herd leads to misdirection of our energy so we get exhausted as we anxiously chase fake salvation while our real needs remain unfulfilled, making us frustrated and depressed.

Then there is the externalization of responsibility: We tend to blame the environment (other people, the government etc.) for our poor inner state, which is nothing but further misdirection of our energy (aggression as a raw emotion is expressed in the form of hate and anger instead of assertiveness and self-reflection) leading to even greater frustration, hopelessness and misery.

As long as everyone blames "the other" and maintains a reactive attitude (as opposed to proactive) in this vicious circle, it will remain the general state of the society at large.

This "Golden Age" is a special time to be alive: the possibilities are endless and it is up to us now to recognize the challenge we're facing, wake up and act. It is in this very lifetime that the fate of life on Earth is in our hands. We will either unite or be destroyed.
