The Lenny Rivera Superhero Art Gallery
This past Saturday, my good friend Lenny Rivera was able to show off his artistic talents at the Toms River, NJ Library. They were holding a nice little event surrounding the Amazing world of art. There were cosplayers, seminars, sword fighting, and local artists on hand to show off their skills.
Lenny had a table on the main floor where he was sketching and selling prints. On the second floor, he had a nice gallery of work hanging for all to see. Luckily when my wife and I went to go visit him, he stepped away for lunch. Go figure....
I was able to snap some pics of his gallery of artwork. Some of the characters he’s displaying include Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Silver Surfer, Superman, Darkseid, Luke Skywalker and so many more. Care to take a look with me?!?
If you are interested in obtaining a piece of art by Lenny, check out his info below. Tell him you were sent from Steemit...maybe he will finally get off his lazy ass and get on here like he should have ages ago. 😜
Great gallery! My favorite ones are Batman in a fighting stance, Superman with Krypton exploding and the dash of Silver surfer! Very dynamic poses and lots of details. That last Wonderwoman is definitely a killer too!
Yeah he’s pretty good. I keep trying to wrangle him in here but he’s dumb. Lol
howdy sir blewitt! A lot of great artwork in this post, that guy is tremendous and this is a wonderful post!
Why thank you sir. It was sure nice that the library let him focus his art. They gave him an entire section to display his works. Very supportive.
yes sir, it was very impressive!
I do believe local events like this are important as it serves locals in the community and gives people something to do. I was quite surprised at just how many people attended in the short time we were there.
howdy again blewitt! Hey it seems like libraries should host comic book people like you too! That would be cool.
We did an event at that Library a few years back that was great. I spoke in front of a bunch of kids and they asked questions. It was almost like a Q&A. A ton of fun.
oh.. so cool sir blewitt! How do you get an invite back there? Or I guess it depends on if you made any money or not.
That last event wasn’t really about money. More about doing something for the community. I’d probably go back sometime if they asked. I think my contact there left so I’d probably need to introduce myself to whomever is running that department. Thing number 693 on the list. Lol
