Earth Rover

Ambiguous Object # 7

This object or sculpture is one of many I have made for this series. As all the other objects it looks to have a definite purpose; although one would be hard pressed to define it. My intention is to let the viewer to use their imagination. Not everyone will come to the same conclusion as to what it is, but that makes it fun.

For myself, it gives the impression it is some sort of vehicle. It reminds me of Captain Nemo's Nautilus submarine, but one that drives down a runway and wants to take off. Or perhaps, as its title suggests, its a vehicle driven through the unoccupied landscapes of earth by alien beings who are no bigger than Star Wars action figures.

    It looks like an artistic Chia Pet made of a sea shell that is growing coaxial cables, as if the owner is the richest cable man in history and he is still holding onto his roots.

    btw you can use 5 tags again, the bug has been fixed.
