New Day Gown

Hi!

I wanted to share a dress I’ve just completed. A lot of work went into this piece: I dyed unbleached cotton muslin to achieve this color, created rouleau button loops by hand, covered each button with fabric, bias bound my neckline and armhole edges, and rolled the hems of each tier. After completing the highly detail-oriented construction process, I hand-embellished the whole garment with two kinds of sequins. This dress is actually two pieces. My gorgeous friend modeled and amazing boyfriend photographed it. I hope you like it! 😋
