Travel - Germany - Munich Part #3: Classic buildings and statues!
After visiting the Deutsches Museum I decided to explore more of Munich by foot. After a stroll next to the river Isar I found in impressive building, The Maximilianeum, home of the Bavarian State Parliament.
I continued next to the river to also find the golden "Angel of Peace" which is part of Maximilian Park. Consulting Wikipedia, I found that the angel is a reminder of twenty five years of peace after the Franco-German war.
On the rest of the walk I was amazed by various red-brick churches, classic Gothic/English style buildings and lots of greenery and parks, which are always nice to have in a big city.

Germany is one of the places I'd like to visit. It looks so lovely in pictures. I hope to be able to take my own pictures of it someday.
