Hi, Steemheads!

There's this awesome challenge initiated by @fycee, a budding red fish in this platform. We were brainstorming in the Steemit Powerup Ph group chat and suddenly this challenge was just brought to life, thanks to boss @otom and ma'am @mers and the rest of the gang for encouraging healthy and entertaining discussion always in that chat.

I love anime, who doesn't? I think everyone does. I wanted to write about DBZ but then someone wrote about it quickly. Then I was thinking of Tom and Jerry, the most subtly violent but funny cartoons there will ever be, hahaha, but someone got it, too. So, I am now in deep thoughts and going down the memory lane to remind myself of old anime I enjoyed watching. I'm on my 30s, just imagine the many stuff I have seen and they were all awesome. I memorized theme songs, I know fight scene poses, I know battlecries and all those stuff associated with the cartoons or anime I have watched, even some of their dialogues.

I'd settle with Lupin The Third. I love it because of the characters, they were so memorable because they were all different from each other yet they were brothers and a great gang. I found a cool poster from Pinterest, see below.

I'm pretty sure most people my age know them because this was released worldwide and it was phenomenal. Strange how a story about a gang of thieves would be widely accepted. There are 5 main characters in this anime, headed by Arsène Lupin III or Lupin The Third. He is a decendant of a legendary thief Lupin. He works with his buddies, Daisuke Jigen, the marksman and Goemon Ishikawa XIII, a martial artist and an expert swordsman, a decendant to Goemon, a legendary ronin. They are always chased by Inspector Koichi Zenigata of the Interpol but they always succeed in their escape. However, Fujiko Mine, which is Lupin's love interest will always want to have the stolen stuff for herself and end up stealing it from Lupin and the gang.

This aired at night in a local channel when I was a kid, so, I made sure I was tuned in by then. I do not eat at the table for dinner, I stay in the living room watching. Sometimes my aunt would yank my hair for me to finish eating because I took forever to finish because my eyes were glued to the TV. I also remember not going to camp for girl scout because I would miss these cartoons and Power Rangers. I attended camp during the day but I would ask my mama to fetch me before night falls because I did not like to miss my cartoons at night and Power Rangers. LOL

Awww. It feels good to look back to those days when life was nothing much but having fun being a kid and enjoying anime/cartoons. I will always be a kid inside and I will always love cartoons/anime. Thanks @fycee for this dose of flashback to a good episode in our lives. Cartoons/anime made our childhood awesome and this is something I know everyone will love looking back to.
