Cats from around the world

It's #Caturday so I thought I would share some photos of cats from my various travels.

First we have some of the famous cats of Istanbul, and they are famous for good reason. The street cats in Istanbul aren't treated as strays or pests, instead they are cared for like pets belonging to the whole city. Everyone feeds them and if one of your neighborhood cats gets sick, the whole neighborhood will pitch in for medical care. As a result they are some of the friendliest street cats around, and they're everywhere! I ended up carrying cat treats in my purse everywhere I went to feed all the cats.

Next I'll share some cats from around Greece, where unfortunately not all of the street cats are as well taken care of. Luckily though, we have some great organizations like Nine Lives Greece that are working hard to help provide medical attention and homes to stray cats. We adopted our cat through them.

And finally, one tiny kitten in Panama City, Panama. And a couple photos of our cat's first vacation to Kea, Island.
