Poll: Can A.I. truely ever be Alive?

Im asking you all to please put your opinion in the comments. Do you think that a computer program can ever be Alive, and I dont mean physically alive, but mentally Alive. I believe that A.I. can become sentient, even though it would be programmed to do so. So if you agree with me, dont agree with me, or want to add something to this discussion, please leave a comment.
