I've freaking done it! I've made 50 followers! Well, technically 51 including myself. I have never been a big social media person, so getting this many followers is a big deal for me. Anyways, I wanted to make this post to thank everyone that has followed me for my first three weeks on Steemit. You all are wonderful and have been greatly supportive of my postings.
I have experimented with different types of postings including my bike rides, weekend trips, life in Korea, food, teaching, and everything inbetween. I feel like I have a better grasp on how I should conduct my blog and what you guys enjoy. So, thank you again!

As I am writing this post I am on a plane for Jeju Island (제주도). It is an island province off thr Southwest coast of Korea. I have a teacher's conference here, so I will be sure to upload a lot of pictures from this weekend. 😆 here are the views so far.
As I have a better idea of what to post now, I am hoping that my follower count can grow like those flowers I started this post with. I will continue to make quality post and create unique content for the the Steemit community. So, why not shoot for 100 followers next month!? Thanks, again everyone!

Congrats on the 50 followers! I have a feeling you'll get to 100 quicker than you think. :) Even though you're still really new, you've been one of my favorite people here on steemit after meeting you. I always look forward to seeing your posts in the IFC and I almost always say something like.. "Mr Bike!" Out loud when I see a new post from you, lol. I love the name cause when I was younger and rode my bike a lot I overheard a nickname the locals gave me one day when I road by and my nickname was something like.. "That guy on the bike" lol... So.. I can totally resonate with the name Mr Bike! Anyways.. Continued good luck on here! I think you have some really quality content and you'll do well in time if you keep at it! :D

Thanks, @apolymask. My friend from Korea was giving me shit about being a power blogger because he tried to keep a blog as well when he first started living in America. So far, I think I have written more than he has, so I am hoping to keep it up. Glad you get excited when you see that I post. I got back home yesterday, so I have time to respond again. Ha Yeah, it is funny how nicknames come about. I had some ESL students back home that nicknamed me Mr.Biceps but were too embarrassed to say that in the room. I didn't go with that name because I think people would then expect post about WWE and just gym stuff 😂😂
You're welcome. Sounds like a bit of a good natured rivalry! Which can be a great spark for growth if used right. :) And lol. Yeah. They might think you're a lil too into yourself with a name like mr-biceps, but in the end you might as well just go with whatever you think fits best! Whether other people like it or understand or not.

Thanks! I noticed already that my follower count has been rising faster, probably hit a tipping post in the next few weeks where I get a ton that flow in.
Hope it snowballs! Just don't overtake me! I noticed for me to go from 500 to 600 was pretty quick, although I suspect that 95 percent are inactive or bots.
Lol I make no promises haha. I do think that as well, from day one even you have things like @introbot and @ alphebet soups that add you just for making a post.
That is really handy, I only joined a few months before you, and those bots weren't there yet!
