How your getting to the Happy Hours.

I'm gonna take you on a little journey of what goes on behind the beer selection and food. Being a tourist destinations in a remote place makes getting supplies an adventure.
From my side of lake atitlan to Guatemala City is a 4 hour journey. It would be shorter... but then God said let there be potholes.

When I start the trip at 5:30 am...the shuttle looks like this.

First stop the bank. Crazy fact. The banks don't like giving out change here. It is a constant battle... so when I go to Guatemala City once a month... i take advantage and load up. We arrive here at 10am.

Then it is over to the lawyers office to sign some paper shit.

Then the speciality lumber yard for the high quality wood sealer with uv protection.


On to the pots pans and glasses store.

Then to the bulk box store for all the oils, speggheti, brownies and others needed basics to make the cafe tick for another month. We have the imported beers distributer meet us in the parking lot... fill the shuttle as full as we can....

Then drive back the 4 hours on the pothole highway. And fill these empty storage shelfs with that months big city run.
And that is a glimpse into what goes on before the Happy Hour.
