Every week, we will choose one or two Freewriters that applied to be adopted by the Freewrite House. We will hand out two 50% upvotes per day and resteem one post per day for 7 days!

If you use photos that are not your own - make sure to cite them correctly. And if they are your own, tell us that too.

My word count is at 26,000 and I have ten days left. I can do this. Not that numbers matter to me. The novel is evolving and developing in ways I never would have anticipated. I have a fear of boring the reader with historical trivia. I have holiday traveling ahead and babysitting our grandson (such a dreaded chore, NOT). Why does Thanksgiving week have to consume such a big chunk of Na-No-November!
Thanksgiving takes up so much nano time because we're testing your writing skills. You can do this. #NovMadFan Bruni says so...

I think people who are into historical novels love the trivia!!! I know I do when I read them. And you make everything sound so interesting!
Vielen Dank! My offspring dread my history factoids, as did my sisters before them, and I'm not at all used to having anyone find trivia as fascinating as I do, but I can't just NOT include it. The trick is to weave it in without an info dump. Thanks @mariannewest!
Yes!! To me, that is the way to learn history and what I am keenly interested in. The odd little facts of life that make things real!! You know that our kids think that we are crazy no matter what we do and sisters - don't even get me started 😂
