I am adopting a pet Minnow! Who wants to be my minnow?
I am searching for my own pet minnow now!
I enjoy the social aspect of this platform & I plan to parade all around with my minnow at my side. Raving about how wonderful you are and how everyone should follow you and upvote your content!
I speak from experience when I say the total daily ego boost goes a long way & you will flourish in your posts!
Resteeming and upvoting your content will become my favorite pastime.

Adoption will last about a month, if you are good minnow you will help keep this project going and keep having more fun with it.
If you are a bad minnow, you could bore me to death and ruin it for future Minnows! (But I doubt my pet minnow would never do such a dirty deed)
I will place my minnows name on this stage at the end of my posts. Everyone will know what a Star you are!

Of all the solutions I've seen so far—upvote pools/bots, resteem pools/bots, delegating steem, flagging spammers/plagiarists, self-upvoting, etc., this is the one I like the most.
Someone personally and individually doing some act of kindness to another just for the sake of it. Incentivizing creators to create good content because someone actually cares that they do.
I hope it truly serves your intended purposes, and that this takes off. I hope you also avoid burnout.
I know it's been greatly benefiting me, and while I can't really call what I'm trying to do in return as adopting any specific minnow, I'm trying to give back and hope to do it in more meaningful ways down the road.
You should write an #adoptaminnow post Glen. You could have two adopted fish parents!

Wow, I am so up for adoption :)
I was pointed towards steemit by my girlfriend, and immediatly liked the concept of micro-payments. I've been advertising this idea for years, but unfortunately none of the exisiting platform was open to integrate it. So it took steemit.
What immediatly talked to me was the kind of quality and feedback one gets if it is not only about 'likes' for Mr. Z. in the end.
My followers can expect the output of 30 years of passionate and serious photography.
My favorite thing about myself is my Bus, which is an essential part of my work, life & approach.
Another thing that's not bad about me is that I am easy to get along with, whilst being very straight about what's important to me.
I will be a good Minnow, if I just was adopted by a Majestic Human!
