Upvote Shares | Year 1 Shareholder Values
The aim for this program since the start has always been to be a smaller scale proof of concept upvote group based on a new model that was supposed to solve some of the fundamental members face with most of the existing groups. ( Explained in Detail ). So far after an entire year of running the program, it's safe to say that the numbers are working out exactly as expected with all active shareholders crushing the 10x self-upvote reference number when it comes down to their return on investment on daily upvotes. All this while the program also allows sponsorships to help minnows grow!
One of the key features of this project is the minimum returns of shareholders grows along with the project each time a new Level is reached while all new shareholders begin with the same starting returns. Systematic outside funding each level along with many small value-creating mechanisms make this all possible. All shareholders can also claim their invested STEEM back in case the program ever comes to an end or sell their shares at any given time if they want to.

- Open = What can be claimed back if program would end.

LEVEL 15
Level 15 is set to open up once the @upvoteshares account reaches 3608SP. All existing Shareholders will continue to see their minimum returns grow and new shareholders can expect a ~15% increase by next year if the program reaches level 25 all while getting daily upvotes that easily reach a 20x self-upvote reference number.

The pace will probably slow down a bit from now on and I estimate at least 30-35 days to move up to a next level. I do plan to add Steem needed to reach a next level sooner in case reservations are all sold out though? The long term still looking great and everyone who is in should continue to get good returns.

How much is a share? I would be interested
Like peter said, 1 Level 15 Share comes at 4.400 STEEM. 4.100 of that get powered up and can be claimed back if the project ever ends or you can sell it to someone else at any given time. The 0.300 'entre fee' is fully used to buy delegation and allows 1 Minnowshare sponsorship. This sponsorship will give a daily upvote around 0.01$ from the @minnowshares account to a minnow of your choice and allow the ones that get multiple sponsorships to get a free (paid for by the program) Upvoteshare. One of the best ways to get in, is to be part of the auto-reservations getting a couple shares each round and always sponsoring the same minnow. (25 out of 50 shares each round are currently auto-reserved). Reservations are always without obligation to take them up when they become available.
The upvotes are currently set at 3.4% for each share, this will go down along as the account grows but continue to give good returns.

Ok, I got you 5 reservations for the next level that opens up and 2 on the auto-reservations list afterard. I always send a message once the shares become available.
The original Idea of the minnowshare was for it be be accounts that wanted to become a minnow. When the project started a year ago the price of steem was a lot higher, so the line that is drawn to who can be sponsored changed a bit. @donnadavisart should be fine for sponsorship. Each level the maximum an individual can give to the same account is 2 minnowshare sponsorships mostly to avoid abuse and make it way too easy to fill up the reserved free shares. The system so far has proven to work and be quite fair.

A share for level 15 would be 4.1 steem. But there is also an administration cost of 0.3 steem. This administration cost is used to buy some SP delegation, at least that is how I do understand it.
You can max reserve 5 shares per round and each share consists of an upvoteshare and a minnowshare.
