Hello! My name is April, and I Am...
It's true. I own it.
We ended up getting just about a foot of snowfall overnight afterall. No big deal...aside from the fact that I am literally running out of room to put it during cleanup. Thankfully it was the fluffy kind, so I didn't rush right out there this morning. Okay, so that's not an entirely true statement. I did go out first thing to clear a quick spot for Karma to be able to do her business. After that I went back in to ease into my day. I injoyed my delicious coffee, made a couple tweets, hopped on facebook for a few minutes and also spent some time catching up with one of my sisters (Tammy). It was a fantastical morning.
After that I went out to snap a few pictures and then began my shoveling. I want to say it was around 11:30am-ish when I finally got started and I was done with it by 1:15pm-ish. Ohhh...but wait! There's more!! Ahaha..of course I didn't stop there with my actifitivity. We needed a few things at the store so I was like you know what? Fuck it, might as well just get my walk on now since my body is already all warmed up & in 'I like to move it-move it' mode. Makes sense, right? Hehe...totally does to me.
I figured the sidewalks would be nice and clear by this point, so it should only take me about an hour (allowing myself time to compensate for slipperyness and such). Boy was I wrong! The entire trip took me like 2.5 hours!!! WTF!!!! Dude, let me just tell you...the snow on the sidewalks (although they cleared it) was still pretty deep...thanks to the fact that the banks roadside are so freaking high that they like tumbled over a bunch of snow. This wasn't in just like one or two spots either. It was practically the whole damn way!
Anybody else probably would have turned around..or walked in the street...but not me. I was like fuck it...it's a great work out...and it needs to be done...so I'm just gonna keep plodding along.
What can I say? I've already mentioned that I am hardcore...and I am pretty sure you've figured out by now with my actifit history and personal records (two over 100k to date) that I am not playing by any means when I say it. It is no stretch of the imagination...I am speaking a factual fact LOL!
I was pretty tired by time I got home. Really didn't feel like doing much other than soaking in the tub and passing the fuck out. Straight up. Thankfully after chilling out for a few I caught my 'second wind' and fed myself and the fam. Can't let them starve...it's just not how I roll. The hardcore bit extends beyond just working out ;) I did however decide to be lazy as far as the rest of the housework went (for today anyway). Perhaps it my not seem like it - but in all honesty, I do give myself breaks when I feel they are needed.
If my level of crazy awesomeness hasn't scared you off yet ahahahaha...stay tuned. I am going to be partaking in the Ten (10) Questions To Know Each Other Challenge that my fellow PHC Family member @steemflow invited me to partake in. That's on my agenda for early tomorrow morning.

Oh wow, that's a lot of snow. I think my snow shovel has some cobwebs growing on it (I kind of like it that way). If it snows more than an inch or two around here everything shuts down and people take a holiday during the "extreme weather event." LOL.
I just got started trying out this Actifit application. It looks like a really fun way to track activity and have something to post about.
It always makes me giggle when I think about how some places freak at a dusting like that... Hehe... 💕
Sounds like maybe you relocated from a pretty snowy place to a much less snowy one?
I appreciate all the seasons.. and really love a good snowstorm..but admit I'm Absoulutely ready for springs arrival. Not overly excited about the mud aspect haha which is looking like will be pretty rough this time around 😉 but I just can't wait to get back in the forest and the garden. I would soo Loveee to let some cobwebs settle on my snow shovel...just for a wee bit 😂💯

You guessed it! I grew up in a very snowy place and have had plenty of experience with what that is like. I do like the snow and enjoy skiing when I get the chance and extra cash. It has become so expensive now though but it is still a much better experience here than where I was before.
Some of the locals around here are pretty crazy drivers in the snow. There's usually a few cars on the side of road when it first gets slick. The drivers here are mostly courteous and safety oriented compared with where I grew up though and it makes sense that they would not have as much experience driving in slick conditions. There is much less snow removal and de-icing done on the roads here.

Oh wow.... your are a fierce bad ass, hardcore and addicted to actifit I must admit. I enjoyed reading your report today. Great work out ploughing through the snow, walking in difficult terrain. Most times life requires us to be tough and just power through.
