My Actifit Report Card: July 16 2019
The best laid plans of mice and men
Good evening everyone, I am sharing a few shots taken today with my iPhone for my Actifit post,
A friend told me a few weeks ago about a piece of Yarn Art in the city I believe it was crocheted onto a fence so this morning I decided to go and check it out as I had looked it up and it was quite cool, however this is where the title comes in, I had noticed it was on display till the 25th of June and thought cool its still up its only the 16th, but of course it snot June its July and it was no inter there, But luckily I did pass some other art on the walk that I can share in this post.
THis first bit of art is on the Side of a Shake Shack place in Harlem, I haven’t eaten at this one but i have at a couple of other Shake Shack places and the burgers are pretty good

An this next one is on the from of a Rite Aid pharmacy, now parts of Harlem can be a little rough shallI say and I passed through a couple of streets this morning where although I won’t say I was worried i didn’t feel so comfortable and quickly waked along.

This is a very colorful Mural on he side of a school, the wording states Education is not a crime

I then got to the location where i thought the art was to find a plain fence, now that I think about it I should have taken a photo of the mesh fence but i didn't, but now you are going to laugh with this next part of the story.
As I am preparing this I just poked up again the details of this artwork, and I was right it is up until the 25th of June, But June of 2020, my problem was not the date but the location, I for some reason thought it was at 146th Street and besides a totally different Park than the one I went to, in fact as I walked out front he 125th Street Station I was literally only a few sort blocks from where the art is so I will try again another day, But I got to explore an area I had not walked before and saw this cool art, I did decide to take a look in the park. Had walked by, but after walking in a short distance I saw someone shooting us with a needle and some unsavory looking characters I thought maybe in the early morning this is not a good place to be so. Headed back to catch the subway at the 135th Street Station

Even thought i walked in totally the wrong direction, passed some streets perhaps best visited in daylight, it was still a good start to the day, saw parts of the area I had not seen before some nice art, and got over my 10K step goal I try for on weekdays :)

I was just talking to my brother in law about Shake Shack the other day. I have never been to one, but they just had one open near them in Ohio. It is supposed to be really good from what I hear. Very nice shots! Those are some awesome murals.
I have had burgers from there twice and they were great, I could easily go there once a week but I am trying to limit bread in my Diet o am avoiding it, but i have set myself a treat of having a burger when I reach my next weight goal, and i may even have a shame as wel I hear they are really good as well
I have been starting to just eat burgers without the bun. That has been working out well for me and surprisingly, I don't really miss the bread that much.
I should try that someday, I guess it is just a mental thing for me a urge with a bun and fries LOL
Oh, well, I'd never give up the fries :)
I don’t have them often these days but when I do I devour them lol who doesn’t love Fries

Ohh yeah the lines can get huge they are so popular, I normally go for an early lunch at about 11:30 to avoid the long lines
