My Actifit Report Card: January 19 2019

So second day of fitbit and i woke up this morning with an awful pain on the side of my foot.

Normal saturdays activites such as the weekly shopping hurt with the pain shooting up my leg.

Hoping tomorrow I will be grand because i have a couch to 5k session.

There is no swelling. I wonder if its still sore should i just go anyway? It may be down to the lack of exercise before this.

Any advice?

No, and its not my ancle, rather the upper side of the actual foot, any ideas? I have been very inactive for the last year and all i have been doing is this couch to 5k run and im on week 2, so only 4 sessions in

Maybe you have pulled your tendons too much, this can be quite painful. This happens easily, when not running regularly. Your foot needs rest. To be really certain what it is, I would advise to see a doctor.

If you still have pain while walking/running, then this would be the best. Maybe it is something which goes away by itself in the next days. Just watch it, how it goes or if it gets worse, then decide.

Lets hope i wake up in the morning and its grand 😁

Maybe a bad move, or it may be the lack of exercises. You must go progressively.

Rest your foot for a day or so. If no improvement then doctor 👨‍⚕️
Top of foot is unusual without some sort of trauma or at least a bruise .
Hard to say you might Have injured it when jogging due to your shoes 👠

I never stretch enough and get rather inactive so the next day is always an interesting one when I do try and become more active again. Just the price to be paid for trying get more active! I hope it works itself out and you are not hinder by it.

If it keeps you might want take a look at your footwear. Been forever since I've been super active. I just remember years ago when I was more active and backpacking the wrong pair of boots that did not quite fit good enough caused way to much rubbing and other issues.
