US Yield curve inversion is getting stronger
So we are seeing major recession indicators during last 14 days. There are warnings of a yield curve inversions for nearly 18 months. Instability just grew and we saw the 2 year and 3 year invert with a 5 year Treasury about three months ago. On Friday we saw the yield on the US 10-year Treasury note dip below the yield on the three-month paper. This is the first time since 2007 that we saw this happen!
So...what does this mean and how does this indicate that we are heading right into a recession? This is big news. You don't see the mainstream media talking about these kinds of yield inversions - which is incredible. Because it is such a consistent recession indicator and people tend to focus on the ten-year in the two year Treasury yields.
And for people who don't know, an inversion is when you get these short dated bond yields, yielding more than the long dated ones which is this bizarre world (kind of thing) that shouldn't happen.
-it did happen in 2007
-it happened right before the dot-com bust of 2000
-happened right before 1990 when there was a recession
so that is a good indicator
When a three-month bond yields more than a ten-year bond that's a strange strange occurrence and it precedes a recession time after time. There are no exceptions
Every world central bank is buying this market. They will not let it fall....until they will!
Markets were supposed to run in cycles. Not anymore. It's all propaganda. Seems like everything they want on fake financial news today, are rate cuts! How rate cuts are good for stocks. But...they do not tell you about the damage that will be inflicted on the bond market and with end ....on the dollar (and other currencies) if they decide to do that. The middle class again is being systematically eliminated.
