NaNoWriMo 24 - Update

The tale is about.

• The last man on earth who created new life and fulfilled a promise he made to the "first living".
• A friend turns out to be the ghost of an inventor and tyrant. He is not a "first living".
• The "first living" are... stones and save all wisdom. It is unclear if they are the same as "the elderly".
• The voice comes, interferes and goes. Only a sick mind can make up a voice he only hears. Can it be Cat?
• The giants are quiet and peaceful, do not speak, have a shade of green and glow in the dark. Turning into stone seems to be a habit of them. They are created by the father (aka the last man on earth, aka the creator).
• A "corpse" in a suit is found and hid by the creator and found by the ghost. It claims to be human and wants to get out of it.
• The newborns are the latest and last creations. They mainly sleep, smile and grow fast. The ghost shows interest in them and made a plan.

So far the story in a nutshell.
Life is promising and the giants had their first day out. One of them found what the father asked for, a sign of other life.
All went wrong as the ghost envied the creator, showed itself and tried to possess a giant. The cold air that surrounds it or fear changed the giants into stone. Only with the help of the healing hands, they get alive again.

This is a tale. A happy end is expected. The bad news is the ghost escaped from the jar and knows who to possess. The good news is the father his memory came back.

What happened yesterday.

The creator is lost, lost in the tunnel and about losing his mind. He searched for its end but the road was gone.
As he wakes up he finds himself back on a sofa in a room without doors and windows. The fireplace burns, it is warm and cozy and the table is set. The finest dishes are waiting for him and there is even iced coffee.

The ghoul gave up on searching for the creator. His first concern is to take the suit he hid earlier to WE. He not only has plans with this ghost city at the end of the tunnel but with the "human intruder" too. Although it begs it to help it get out of the suit the ghost refuses. As a tyrant he learned not to trust strangers. He finds a building which he will use as his castle (aka headquarter).

And the giants?
The firstborn sleep and one of the newborns just opened it eyes and...smiled. It smiled at the ghost.
