It's Tuesday! Time for your weekly Tarot reading for June 18 2019

in #tarottuesday5 years ago (edited)

Happy Tuesday! Time for another of my free weekly Tarot Tuesday tarot card readings. This time, the reading is for the week of June 18 2019.

If this is your first visit to one of my Tarot Tuesday posts - welcome! Thanks so much for dropping by, and here's a little bit about how this works -

First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three!

After you've decided on your card or cards, you scroll down the page for photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.

Oh, and don't be worried if you don't happen to see this on the exact day. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊

I also would like mention...

Now, let's get started. Here's a photo of the backs of the cards for this week. For the record, yes, it is a new picture every week.

Take a moment to focus, then look at the photo of the three cards to decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. When you're ready, scroll down to the bottom of the post for your message.

Now, as to insure that you don't see the picture of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I'm using a graphic I created as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. Since the Full Strawberry Moon was yesterday, I thought I'd share this full moon healing spell I put together for a blog swap a few couple years ago. From what I was taught, you can perform full moon spells the night before, the night of, and the following night, so it's not too late to give this a go if needed.

EDITED TO ADD: For the Floral Full Moon water recipe (mentioned in the graphic), check out this post. However, you can also substitute any type of water (as long as it is safe to drink) that works for you.

Full Moon Healing Spell 2019

Time now for the card reveal. Here's the photo of the card faces...

June 18 2019 Front

...and the my interpretations/messages for each card are...

1. Two of Swords

Should I stay or should I go? You totally relate to Mick Jones when he says, "this indecision's bugging me." You're stuck between a rock and a hard place and you can't move until you can see what the problem is. You've been trying to ignore it, hoping it will go away, but that's not the solution. Once you put down your swords, and remove your blindfold you'll have a better idea of the answer. And judging by that crescent moon hanging in the sky on the card, you might find a new beginning as a result.

Tarot Tidbits: The Two of Swords was last spotted, in the second position, at the beginning of the year on January 15th, 2018.

2. Eight of Swords

Time to get moving. You’re stuck. None of the choices available to you seem right, so you’ve stopped moving forward. You’re afraid that if you make the wrong one, you’ll get hurt. However if you stay put, the choices only get worse. Stop overthinking and take a step – yes, there might be a little owie, but soon you’ll be back on the right track, and the pain will be behind you. As the saying (which makes me sentimental for my hometown of Gloucester, MA) goes, it's time to fish or cut bait.

Tarot Tidbit: The Eight of Swords last was seen, in the first position, just a couple months back on April 30th, 2019.

3. The Hierophant

The Mystic. When you're in the middle of a crisis, and you feel like you're all alone, this card is a reminder that all of your ancestors, your community, your family (blood or chosen) are still there with you, even if you can't see or feel them. I like to think of this as the Mr. Miyagi card - someone who steps in and teaches you the knowledge you need to stop the bullies. Sometimes though, this card shows up for me when I get a little too wrapped up in the "right" and traditional way of doing something. It means I need to remember to honor the spirit of the ritual, and not sweat the details.

Tarot Tidbit: The Hierophant hasn't been seen for close to a year! The last time it was also in the third position, on July 31st, 2018.

I hope you enjoyed your message, and bright blessings to you in this upcoming week!

Awesome, @brutledge! And you're very welcome! 😊

Before checking out the card I wrote, I want to say that I think the full moon healing spell is wonderful. I do something similar, like the First Nations here, using cedar instead of the paper. It is the same with the sage for smudging. I love it. Although the one thing I dont know about is the water. Floral full moon water, what is that?

Ok, now going to the card I chose :P

I chose the 2nd card. The swords. Spot on. Everytime I chose the cards from your post have always been spot on. Man, I think thats the coolest thing! Thank you for doing this!

Using cedar instead sounds amazing, @foxyspirit! And thanks so much for mentioning the Floral water - I meant to include a link, and completely spaced it! This is what I just added in the post above-

EDITED TO ADD: For the Floral Full Moon water recipe (mentioned in the graphic), check out this post. However, you can also substitute any type of water (as long as it is safe to drink) that works for you.

And, that's awesome! Thanks so much for saying so - I wicked appreciate getting validation like that. 😊 💜

Thanks for the edit ^_^ I love this stuff, even though some would call it witchery :p ;)

And ya, absolutely! I know I would appreciate it if someone would share their thoughts so I am quite happy to do so!

Oh, i chose the thrid card and the Hierophant appeared:) I liked you message because i am always in the middle of a crisis, lol. i know a bit about Tarot but i never used a deck for divination. I was always interested in the symbolic value of each card. The Major Arcana is about the journey of life in my opinion. a manual full of information about what you will find in this journey and all the different stages of it:)

So glad you enjoyed your message, @georgeboya - and I hear you on the perpetual crisis! LOL!

I agree with you about the journey of the Major Arcana. In fact, if you're interested, here are a couple of video links I've found over the years that give really interesting perspectives on the Tarot (at least I think they do - it's been a long time since I've watched either...LOL!).

Hope you enjoy, and thanks for dropping by!

Oh, thank you very much for the links:) I will watch Jodo for sure, he is one of my favourite artists:)

Coolness! And you're very welcome!

Number 1, purfect as I was going to an event this coming up weekend and couldn't make up my mind, finally, I have cancelled! Thank you @traciyork, as usual spot on!

So glad the message resonated for you, @kimmysomelove42! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend instead! 😊

Will work with the full moon healing spell next full moon Traci. But I guess it's never too late to work in this way, just that the phase of the moon makes it more potent?

I drew the 2nd card. Time ONCE AGAIN to review and clear the old hindering thoughts and objects. I'm still decluttering ~ But other things come up ~ Like exhibitions to see and people to help move house and magic wands to make. Great to have the feeling that I'm on track and the pain of indecision ('where will this go' etc) will be behind me soon. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Awesome, @allyinspirit! I've found it really depends on your personal practice - some people will do the spell with a general "around the time" kind of thing, and there are others who will only perform it at the exact moment the moon turns full. I wish you the best for your spell next month. 😊

And I hear you on the de-cluttering - I'm going through that myself. Bright blessings to you as you put the pain of indecision behind you!

It's time to fish for me @traciyork 💕

YAY! Happy fishing, @wonderwop! 😊
