This I a shot at Walnut Beach here in Milford taken as the sun was rising.
I remember this morning so well, when I got to the beach I saw the couple of people you can see in shot by the pier, setting up their tripods and wait for the sunrise, this was a good 30 or more minutes before sunrise and was still fairly dark.
we chatted a bit and then I decided to get my 3 Mile walk in that I wanted to that morning, as I said it was dark and at that time there were dark clouds near the horizon and I honestly was not expecting much of a sunrise so I left my tripod in the car and went for a brisk walk. Luckily for me I got back near my car about 10 minutes before.
You never know what nature will give you each day
As I said earlier it looked like it was going to be a dull colorless and dreary sunrise, which had been the case the day before, but low and behold as you can see in this photo Mother Nature put on a lovely display for is that morning.

That pier reminded me immediately of Brighton beachfront in the uk :). I also love the fact that you can never tell with a sunrise or sunset what's coming. And with the truly spectacular ones you know it's a work of art that won't ever be repeated exactly the same way. Nice shooting!
I never made it to Brighton, hMmm no hang on I think I did manny years ago, well a couple of decades but I do faintly remember the pier there now that you mention it

Yeah, they have two. A new one and an old burnt out pier further along. The beach isn't as nice as that of course, what with being made out of stones 😬
OK we have a mix of sandy and stone beaches here this is one of the nicer sandy beaches and the most popular in summer
Wow, this is amazing. Nature is beautiful and you capture it so beautifully that you add more light to it. I have been showing your work to my sister who I have been forcing to join steemit and she is blown away by all your photographs.

I do believe so, I enjoy my weekend visits t the beach to start the day, those days after a beautiful sunrise I am just more motivated and get so much more done
nice colors in that shot, I like the footsteps in the sand everywhere suggesting you were there to say last to catch this frame!

Some of the footprints were mine walking back and forth along the beach from about half an hour before the sunrise started, and others were the many people out that morning walking the beach or walking there dogs, it was popular that morning :)
95 or more percent of the time my camera is with me :)
I got the same going one haha! Just is not allowed in the hospital I am doing my internships at. :(
Other times I always have it strapped to my bag :D

Luckily I can bring my camera into work, just the a6500 at the moment, upgrading to Full frame is something I hope to do soon, Dreaming of the A7rii or iii but that may take a while to save up for lOL
The a6500 is a SWEET device. I was really doubting to get it also (instead of the FF AII) It's a great mobile thing, and you should keep it if you ever are going to make the switch.
The RII and RIII (GOLDENN) are more for the high res peep amongst us. I dont care about pixels so I would wait for the A7III

The 6500 is great I love it and will use it fir my carry around camera into the city and such
I am interested to see when the A7iii comes out if it is before I can buy I will check it out
I used a friends A7Rii once and loved it but I go back and forth the A7ii would probably be more than enough for me so I bounce back and forth thinking about what to get

I love the beach and I was fortunate to live on the beach for 4 months (best times of our lives) and like you said, "you just never know what the nature will give each "
I grow up a bike ride away from the beach, and then had a period of about two decades hardly ever near the sea so am glad to live close to some nice beaches now :)
100% Upvote for that one today! A glorious sunrise to lift ayone's spirits! The clouds add so much to that shot. I'd say you timed it perfectly to nail it!
I was lucky to time it right, I was about a Mile away from the car when it started to change and look like it had potential was a quick walk jog to get back grab my tripod and get this shot

It doesn't take long for the sky to change! You have to be ready. I'm experimenting with the 100% vote today! I'm picking out 10 favorites. I have not done this before, so it's a new adventure!

I usually mess with that slider all over the place to make sure I spread the love around! LOL! Today, I just thought it would be nice to give 10 favorites 100%. I have read somewhere that it is better to do that than to vote tons of small votes.

I'm going to write a post about it at the end of today with links to all the great posts I chose! I even have an image of mine in mind that will serve as the click-bait image. I won't post any images in my post without permission, and DEFINITELY never the first image in the post! I hate when I see that done on Steemit. I think I'll just use links, as I want those reading the post to check out the posts and images. Human nature stops most people from bothering when they see the image already posted there, so they don't benefit from the plug! This is the second part of the experiment. LOL!
Checked Busy.org and I had already Upvoted a few times before I started with the 100% Upvotes, so I won't be doing 10 today. I will have a fresh start with that tomorrow now!

It is a lot more work i think to do it that way and including a post, I guess its a type of Curation and reporting which is excellent but for now I am not sure if I could find the time to do it myself but it is a greta initiative on your part
so stunning! 🌺 one thing about SA is that we also have the most amazing beaches, but one cannot just walk around them before or after sunrise. You will get mugged 😓

Not dampening at all, just the truth, in some parts of the States there are areas the same I am just lucky to live somewhere where the beaches are fairly safe to go to
