What Makes A Tradition Great ?

Hi Steemians,
Is not unusual for families, friends or couples to have traditions. What is a tradition? Is simply the established or customary pattern of thought or behavior.

For several years now I’ve had the tradition of making a year book. In that book I add pictures of special events and my travels. This gives me the opportunity to savor those memories and share them with my family and friends.

This year has been a great one just like many other years. I love traditions and being part of the growing Steemit community I wanted to start a new tradition. So I did!

I wanted to start a tradition that would allow many to participate and interact; but most importantly I wanted it to be fun. I started the first ever Christmas tree photo contest. The winner of this year is, @jaycee7viral. Thank you everyone who participated. And a big thanks to the judges ! Hope to see many more participants next year.
