The Best Post Promotion Tips - Part 2: Resteem Services

In this second part of my 'Best Post Promotion Tips' I'll be discussing the use of Resteem services, which are a useful tool to get out the word about your posts.

A while ago, I started this series, in which I want to show you how you can reach a broader audience for the posts you"ve worked so hard on. In this series, I'll be showing how to promote your content, both inside the platform as outside. I plan to mainly focus on ways to get the word out about your posts outside of the platform? After all, there are 4 billion people using the internet these days and all of them are potential readers and followers.

It contains some general information about the importance of post promotion and some useful tips you can already apply, without having to do a lot of extra work. You can read the first part here


But for today, I'll be focusing on increasing your post views from inside the forum.

Resteem Services & Why To Use Them

Resteem services do exactly what you think they do: they resteem your post. Some resteem services are run by bots, some by humans. A resteem is just like a share on Facebook: a resteem service shares your SteemIt post on its account. Your article will appear in its stream, where all its followers can see it. How many people will see your post depends on the number of followers the resteemer's account has.

There are some exceptions, but most resteem services aren't free. Prices go from 0.001SBD all the way up to 2SBD or more.
It's important to choose the right services if you don't want your money go to waste.

IMPORTANT:
Make sure the resteem service has a good number of followers compared to the price you need to pay to get resteemed.

Are Resteem Services Useful?

As for everything here in SteemIt, some people support the use of resteem bots, other people think it's a waste of time.

Personally, I come across comments on my posts in which people tell me they've found my posts through one of the resteem services, so I'm pretty sure they're helpful.

Of course, you shouldn't expect miracles to happen when you start using resteem services, but in my experience, they do work. Even if they bring in only a small number of extra readers, if your posts is of good quality, those readers will easily convert into followers.

The big benefit of Resteem services is that, although most are not free, they're a lot cheaper than upvote bots. And some services also offer you an upvote (or more upvotes from their curation trail), next to the resteem.

As you should know by now, there's no secret formula to get rich overnight on SteemIt. Resteem bots will not bring in hundreds of Dollars or 100s of new followers a day, but they do will grow your following in the long run.

How To Use Resteem Services?

For most services, you need to send a payment from your wallet to the service, adding the URL you want to be resteemed to the 'Memo' field.

Some are different, though, so It is important that you always read and follow the instructions carefully!
