Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 28/12/2018 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem prices and changes for just over 2 years now.

I also want to mention just incase your thinking something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do slightly change from time to time.

But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as its important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 28/12/2018

Should you be trading with Steem today..

So today Steem actually recovered more then suspected which was nice to see it spent most of the day running very stable at $0.25 we started only seeing a upbump around ⏰15.40 and as you can see Steem hit $0.27 but we also saw it reach $0.28 not long ago. Looking at Bitcoin there was instead a sudden upwave, kinda like Steem but instead Bitcoin was sneakily going upwards, we see Bitcoin started around $3577 and make it's way up to $3917 at ⏰19.10 which was already after the upwave which happened at ⏰15.30. Today was definitely a good day to buy some Steem aslong as it was prior to the upwave, well basically the earlier you brought-in the better. Experts believe that the downfall as come to its end and that we should not see Bitcoin go any lower than $2900. Well at these prices we continue on this survival mode era of Steemit.com, Bitcoin dropped drastically forcing Steem's own value to tank downwards causing "Steem INC" a staff reduction of %70 and a possible threat to the site. Soon after this news there was a meeting and the conclusion was to survive by cutting down costs especially nodes running cheaper among some other strategies which will still take time to implement. The good news 👍 is with the recent development Ned said we should be able to save enough money to make it through the bear market, and while this is a great relieve we still need to actually do it and survive. Steemit INC said that they are well on track to delivering the cost reductions and moving forwards with Light SMT's. Realising some of their improvements Ned said the priority is to work on the Steem network's fundamentals, RocksDB and SMT's are now the main focus. Also Steemit is in the number #1 position on stateofthedapps.com a not for profit website directory of decentralized applications on the Ethereum Blockchain. SBD was a little more bumpy but if you remember we saw it fall yesterday under the $0.70 mark going to $0.66, instead today we are back over the $0.70 mark which happened at ⏰16.10 and at $0.72 recently.
