Oils, Crystals and Christmas Gifts.
Hey there lovely Steem Friends!
If you've been following my recent posts, you know that with everything that's been going on health wise in our family we've been on a bit of a mission to include more alternative therapies, reduce toxins and pretty much live a cleaner life in general.
This has led me down some interesting paths lately - and some of those are old paths I hadn't traveled for a long time!
We've stepped up the outdoor physical activity and getting the old vitamin D in - not too hard when its the beginning of Summer here in Sydney.
We've cut back alcohol to special occasions only - which does not include a hard day at work.
I've been madly replacing toxic chemicals in our house with home made natural alternatives.
We've started meditating again, using our oils and crystals.
Eating more fresh, organic home grown veggies - if we can keep the King Parrots off them long enough to pick.
It's actually all been a lot of fun!
What it has done, is reopen that creative streak I used to have. You know the one that society, adulting, working, responsibilities, tends to thump out of us somewhere around our mid twenties.
Of course now I've decided I'm going to make a ton of my Christmas gifts this year - which I'm sure I will start freaking out over two days before Christmas.
Years ago I used to make and sell crystal jewellery ( We won't mentioned I loved it so much I used to keep half of it rather than sell it!)
Lately I've really got back into my essential oils.
So of course I decided to combine the two and voila I've started creating crystal diffuser bracelets. Of course I've only gotten as far as making a set for me... my friends might be waiting til next Christmas.
And because I'm a person of extremes I've naturally thrown myself headlong and both feet (and rest of the body) into this and am now doing a Diploma of Aromatherapy - if I make it through the 11 units of Anatomy and Physiology, surprisingly I did pass the unit on the limbic system and how our brain and olfactory system works! Who knew - I could have been a brain surgeon (just kidding!) - It will be a Crystal Healing course next.

Thanks mate! sometimes it does take effort - but what is the point of being miserable - there are somethings we may not be able to change but even in the worst case I figure who does it help to be negative, only makes me feel worse!
I think the world will be a scary place if I start messing around in peoples brains lol

thanks Ry... I just might.. I need to work out a way to accept cryptos if I set up a shop online again :) - maybe bpay through living room of satoshi - not sure whats involved setting up a bpay system though.. you think paypal would have jumped on board with cryptos by now!
I've pretty much told people without telling them that they will need to make an account to do the steem thing. Hope steem doesn't make me regret passively trying to get people to sign up!
Well its all up at the moment,, going through the roof! - Though I always thought SBD was supposed to stay close to $1 and Steem was the one that went up.. I'm confused I have to say!
My wife bought us an essential oil diffuser for our room and my son's to use at night and it has mad an incredible difference. I've been fighting congestion for about 2 months and within 1 week of using the essential oils, it has made a noticeable difference.
Always love hearing those stories.
My skeptical father in law had back pain he couldn't get rid of with painkillers or anything.. he rubbed the oil on his back on Friday called us Tuesday to ask it's name as his pain was gone for a few days - he said it was the only thing he did different.
I love when I see people have such a dramatic effect... (I can stop hiding my airy fairy wings then lol)
