Pure Bengali Cuisine- Our Local Snacks!

Hope you are doing great!!
Sometimes I wonder by seeing so many variety of foods around the world. People create a fusion in their own style on the same popular food. Like, pizza, pasta or burger. You will see different types of these around the world.
Our cuisine is mostly similar with Indian Cuisine. We have a huge variety of local snacks. Mostly deep fried item, it may not that healthy but it really tastes good.
Today I am sharing some photos of our local snacks. We are practicing Ramadan here in my country. A part of it we usually break our fast at the evening with different kinds of snacks. As this is a whole month ritual so we try to add different item everyday.
This is our local dessert. It's called Jelapi; a crispy sweet snack.
This one is Jarda Polao; sweetened rice with added color and flavor.
This are all different fried item and chicken shashlik.
I usually don't take much fried item. But it's very common here and people really like those item. We have a really huge verity of fried snacks.
I took all the pictures while I was on a local nearby restaurant to buy some food. I hope you enjoyed my captures.

Breaking a fast straight into fried foods would be a little too rich, personally the kebab chicken looks inviting.
Sweet and crispy looks and sounds different, I purchase a savoury round biscuit similar to this that is tasty made by our local community.
Nice to see the culture and learn more about the food prepared for the occasion.
Would be great to try all of this
