I'm glad to participate in this week one season 18 enegement challenge, there are times when everyone is worried about one thing or the other. I have faced lots of anxiety but along the line it has turned to a story. You too can do it.

It is a big problem to me , how it started it's what I can't explain. Anytime I'm given something to do in public, like doing presentation or public speaking I'm always unease with myself, I will become restless with everything in me. There was a time I was to lead out in women's program in church when I heard my name I went straight to the person and asked her to remove my name from the presentation, she encouraged me and told me that I can do it. Do you know all through that week I had sleepless night , I even dreamt thousand times on how it would be done. Making public speech can make me nervous,

How do you deal with this feeling?

When I discovered that it has become a big problem to my mental health, I started looking for solutions on how to deal with it.

  • Composure. At first, I started watching many young ladies online and how the composed themselves in the public from there I begin to learn how to compose myself. I started telling myself if these people can do it I'm not exceptional I can do it.

  • Being practical. As time goes on after I discovered how anxiety has dealt with me, I became more practical by teaching more young ones around me, I started organizing lessons where I can talk to more than two people at a time. I saw the difference it helped me deal with my public speaking anxiety problems.

  • Knowing myself worth. Inferiority can cause someone to be nervous. I dealt with this by encouraging myself and knowing that I can do it

  • Exposure. Environment where someone is brought up matters in the mental development, I noticed that my background was one of the factors that contributed to my anxiety problems, I started mingling with outspoken people who are very good in their oral English. I learnt from them.

Some tips to avoid suffering from anxiety.

  • Relaxation. Over Labor and worries can trigger anxiety I will advice people who are unease with any thing Should find time to meditate and relax from stress.

  • Learn from others. Anyone suffering from anxiety should draw strength from others who are doing well. There are things from others that should be a motivating factor to someone going through anxiety of any type.

  • Avoid isolation. No one knows it all, making good friends can help someone from anxiety.

  • Watching the things you eat. Someone suffering from anxiety should keep some food away especially the ones that is dangerous to the brain .

  • physical exercises. This can help the body system to be functional and as such relax the muscles from anxiety.

Anxiety can be very intensed to the extent of making someone loner, but discovering how to by pass it at early stages can help anyone to overcome it.

Hello friend, I think we could shake hands since I was like that, but there is nothing better than a person who encourages you or gives you strategies to overcome that part where anxiety takes over.

Options to seek to improve that bad thing that did not let you be yourself, have courage, Calm, learn from others, relax, exercises among others, asciity is not good at all because it can lead us to worse things and not to improve ourselves, talk with other people and when the problem is more difficult, seek professional help.

Public speaking was a big challenge because of how shy I used to be. Then if I am called or am told to represent my people the next day, I will claim to be sick just to avoid speaking in public. You are right, but I think you should do away with that now because genuine are meant to be speaking in public. I wish you good luck.
