Plus, this is a bitcoin chrome extension where you can mine Bitcoin with your CPU and refer people to this site and gain rewards from them inviting more people. This makes 0 sense and does not trust affiliate systems in general unless you are sticking with Amazon or Walmart, etc.
The referral system is just straight up stupid. Where do they get this money in the first place? Oh yeah right, using your CPU to mine Monero, forgot about that. If you want to earn money by referrals, use Amazon affiliate program. If you want to earn money by mining or just earning, use earn.gg or mine with a graphics card.
Just look, starting with referring 5 people and if each of those 5 people referred 5 more and so on, you can make 40 thousand dollars? What? That's a lot of hashing power they are stealing as well.
I have not been able to see someone make a successful withdraw yet; if you have, comment below, please.

The amount of electricity you are using is easily more expensive than the amount you are mining. Just so you are aware of that.
You are exposing your entire computer to be hacked by installing add-ons and the government collecting your data and or facebook/google selling your data. That is how most people lose their cryptocurrency due to keyloggers and security exploits with add-ons.
If you have verified their open sourced code on github or someone has, then it could be trustworthy.
Mining will also kill your laptop/phone/desktop computer very fast. Laptops/phones are not designed for the most part to mine, it will burn up your graphics card and you will have to buy a new laptop/phone.
The only way to actually make a profit from mining cryptocurrency is to buy a dedicated mining rig with 8 graphics card bays that are water cooled, costing you a few thousand dollars, and it would pay itself off usually within 6 to 9 months.
I would say cryptotab is a scam in the sense of that you are going to 100% pay more for the electricity + wear and tear on your computer than the crypto you are getting.

What makes me say that? Simple, to call something a scam, you must have some evidence that that something actually is scamming people, and in a case of CryptoTab, this is not possible. Their payments journal is opened to everyone: https://cryptotab.net/en/journal/
Publicly calling something scam is a slander, and having that in print is even worse.. such untrue statements under the law, give grounds for a civil lawsuit.
So it is OK to dislike them and advice others to not use their browser adon (officially supported, by the way by both, Google Chrome and Mozilla Org, but it is NOT OK to call them a scam.
