Introduction

Hello everyone, I bring you greetings from the bottom of my heart. Trust everyone is doing great? May we all continue to be happy 😊😊

It already 3 weeks into this engagement challenge initiated by the steemit team. It's amazing how time flies. Steem Venezuela as part of the selected communities has always been hosting wonderful contests and this is simply fantastic 😍😍😍😍. I am glad to take part in this topic that allows me to express my feelings about the diarygame that was initiated 2 years ago by the steemit team. It is a beautiful thing and I will like to invite my friends to join this amazing contest, @chiabertrand @bolaji001 @udyliciouz @mesola @nsisong99 @goodybest @eliany and so many others.

The Anniversary Celebration Of Thediarygame

It is interesting to note that we are already two years into the diary game which will be 22nd May. Of a truth, the diarygame is older than me. It started it's journey here in steemit 2 months before I joined. And it started with season 1 because I was told about it. I only met the beginning of season 2. As soon as I joined steemit on July 25th, I heard that the season 1 of this diary game is almost ended and that season 2 will start on August 1, 2020. I was encouraged to join. I wondered what I was going to share in that post as a newbie. But thankfully, it was just me daily activities. I was able to make my first entry into the diarygame the very first day the season 2 started. Remember that I was just 6 days old into the platform

This game was to me be daily to win. That means that for season 1 and 2 which lasted for 3 months or 90 days each, a user is supposed to make his or her entries on a daily basis to win. Oops, I didn't win in the season 2 because my entry wasn't daily. Sometimes I get tired of repeating the same story especially when I had just repeated my activities.

I sometimes felt embarrassed sharing everything I was doing on a daily basis. I felt it wasn't safe as someone could monitor your activities and can trace or determine your movement. But I soon pushed all those thoughts to the background and continued.

Supports on the diarygame entries were somehow certain. For insurance, when you check the screenshot of my first entry above, you will see steemcurator01 reply to my post, just like we at newcomers community reply to expired achievement post, "we are sorry we missed this post's voting window, we will give a catch upvote on your active post '. Something like that, hope you have seen the massage there? Hahahahaha, but guess what, I wasn't paying attention to the upvotes but to the fun I was having.

If I should say that it was the diarygame that interested me the most during my early journey here in steemit, do not doubt it. It was what sharppened my writing shills or will I say, it was what horned my desire for writing. Hence, the diarygame was at the root of my being active till today. It is very simple to join and it has to do with you or me.

But to make it more quality, one has to include other interesting details like the details of the food you have prepared, the interesting things you see along your way, include the what3word code for the pictures, include the weather and other information that will attract readers and curators

After 90 days into the session 2, season 3 began. But this time around, support is not guaranteed and the season is unending unlike the 2 previous seasons. But it exciting because I still get to write my daily activities and if it has quality, it is usually upvoted.

How The Diarygame Has Changed my life/It's Advantages

° Participating in this diarygame made me active. Because it was daily, I always tried to make sure I made entry for each day. Any day I miss it, I will not be happy. Just like the engagement challenge, it was like a challenge to me to. In fact, majority of the Publications I have made so far is diarygame. I love being active, but kudos to the diarygame and thanks to the steemit team for that wonderful initiative.

° Another wonderful thing about the diarygame is that, it helps me understand the living situation of my steemit friends in other cities in my country as well as outside my country. I have come to understand more fully that we all are living in different situations, some are living comfortable lives while some are not. I have come to understand the local foods prepared in most countries like Venezuela, they like aripas while we enjoy garri here. That variety is what keeps spicing up my stay here in steemit.

° I have made so many friends who have come to understand my truthfulness, sharing my lifestyle the way it is. Nothing to hide. I can add that the diarygame helps to dictate fake accounts it it's way. When one tries to share diary on two accounts, it is easier to dictate. I enjoy the selfies of my friends, seeing how they look and what they do within the day keeps me happy. At least I can't see most if them along the way and pass them by. I can recognize them. I love this game scatter.

° it is a wonderful way for the newbies to begin their journey as it is very simple to tell stories of what they do each day that is why I regularly advise them to join the diarygame when I verify introduction posts.

Disadvantages of the diarygame

It is said that whatever has advantage also has disadvantage. Well, to me, I just have a few of the disadvantages of thediarygame, though it just represents my opinion.

° for those who are living in an insecure environment where robbers look for the slightest hint about the movement of their target, the diarygame can provide such information.

° to those who don't like selfies, it will be a problem to join because diarygame is best with selfies because you are talking about your activities. You need to capture yourself engaging in those activities. At the beginning, I felt I couldn't share my selfie but I later adjusted to it. But, so many users are not taking part in thediarygame because they don't like selfies.

° Upvotes are not guaranteed and as such, most users can share their diaries is sequence and they can line up without upvotes in the person's blog and this can be discouraging.

To me, thediarygame is fun, these disadvantages has nothing to do with me because I love sharing my activities. Steemit is a social media and sharing our lifestyles makes it more interesting.

who Introduced thediarygame to me and how I have introduced it to others

I was introduced to steemit by @focusnow and was also the one that introduced me to thediarygame and showed me how to begin. He made it interesting to me because is initially didn't like sharing my activities. I am grateful to him for helping me see how simple it is and for assuring me that I will get used to it if in the long run.

As for me, I have been introducing thediarygame to all my recruits. I have always done so during promotional activities. Most times the first thing or one of the questions a newbie will ask is, what am I going to be posting in steemit? Apart from the achievement tasks, thediarygame is an attraction due it's simplicity as it has to do with the person's activities.

As a greeter in the newcomers community achievement program, I regularly suggest thediarygame to all the users I verify their introduction posts. And most of them are starting with it aside the achievement posts.

I have also been encouraging others to love it by personally sharing in thediarygame. At least when I am asked how to write thediarygame, I do quickly send my diarygame link to them.

Conclusion

From the foregoing, I have explained what thediarygame is, how I joined it, where I met it and his it has changed to an unending season.

I have also shared the benefits and advantages among which is forming friends by following their activities.

It is not also without disadvantages as users face the risk of exposing their lifestyle to their enemies

But in all, steemit is a social media platform and as such, thediarygame has helped to maintain social lives of the users.
