Pleasant surprise from SmartCash
I first came across the SmartCash project when my friend @msg768 started posting about the project. It sounded interesting, but I didn’t take the time to investigate further. This was until one day I received 1000 SmartCash tokens (Smarts) from @msg768 on Steemit via a SmartCash tipping bot. How cool is that?
After this I got more interested and researched the project further. I was pleasantly surprised by all their features and initiatives. For example, they have a Smart Rewards feature, which is similar to a term deposit or staking coins, where you earn interest on the Smarts that you leave in the SmartCash wallet for at least one month from the cut off dates. I also like the fact that they adopt a community governance model, and have a budget allocated towards projects voted by the community.
This morning, when I was looking through Coin MarketCap, I noticed that SmartCash had risen to over $0.50! It was less than $0.05 when @msg768 first tipped me some Smarts a few months ago. This was a pleasant surprise, as my modest holdings had now become close to $1000 after the compounding Smart Rewards. Not bad for some tips via Steemit tipping bot. :)
My only regret is not buying any Smarts because it was only traded on Cryptopia at the time. As I didn’t have a Cryptopia account at the time, I missed the opportunity to buy some Smarts, even though i was sold on the project.
The moral of the story is to not be lazy and act when your convictions tell you to act.

This is a great idea.....a token that can also be a tip.....who can advise how to set up the token to use as a tip.

yes, I love the SmartCash tipping bot idea. @msg768 can perhaps help with your question. Tipping via the SmartCash tipping bot is very easy to do, but not sure how complex it is to set up if you want to do so using another crypto/token.
Lost chances are never lost if we learn something from them and prepare for the future. I myself went through some changes in portfolio and leaving some cryptocurrencies behind (which I previously hold into) and in the end I saw how those would sky rocket and myself being invested in slowly increasing assets. But, stay assured that if you follow your path you'll be successful nevertheless.

Haha, yeah i know. The story with so many people when it comes to crypto. Glad you bought some Bitcoin. I’m glad I followed through on my convictions when I bought some Steem a year ago, although I intended to buy more, but can’t complain.
Oh man don't get me started on Steem. I would have had so much right now; I started following it around 0.80, slowly bought in. The more research I did on it, the more the price rose. So I ended up buying more steem as it went up. It's all good tho, we're still waaaay undervalued. This will be in the $100's in the near future.
