The Persian Land
Iran is not a very famous land with the western countries due to all the geopolitical conditions but if one gets an opportunity to visit this land then it's a must. For me, my roots are from this land, though our ancestors left that region hundreds of years back to save our traditions but still my fondness continues and hence it was always my wish to travel to this place. There are so many stories in our culture Zoroastrianism that I had to make this one lifetime visit and it was worth it. The length and breadth of this land is captivating and rich with history. The beauty of nature is breath taking here and I will share some of the pictures and their story here.

The beauty of nature is breath taking here and I will share some of the pictures and their story here.
The nature attraction to see here is the Ali Sadr underwater Cave. It is the world's largest water cave with beautiful formations of stalagmites and stalactites. With narrow passages this boat ride was one amazing experience to witness the nature's marvel.
This is the Mount Damavand. it is the highest peak in Iran. There is a mythology story of it. It is said that the evil demon is captured in this mountain and the day he breaks free from the mountain he will destroy the whole world. He is chained in the mountains and throughout the day he eats the chains and tries to break free, just about sunrise time when the cock gives a sound the chains again strengthen up. So, the day the cock does not doodle he will break free. We visited the mountains and did a small prayer ceremony here to give respects to our ancestors and also to pray that the evil remains chained up in these mountains throughout eternity.
The other attractive place in Iran was the Lahijan Tea Gardens. The story is that the person Haj Muhammed imported the first tea from India and then started his own plantation as in those days' tea was a very lucrative business and from there, he grew the estate. There is a cable car ride that takes up to the hill from where you get a complete view of the town.
This is another master piece in the land. The 4000 Years old Cyprus Tree. It is one of the oldest living things on our planet, and still a home to thousands of birds. Looks young as forever.
Another nature's creation are these cave homes. These are natural formations and people have made them homes

These are just some glimpses. Iran has a lot more to offer to its visitors. Not only nature, but rich history and architecture is something to marvel at in this place.

I found out for the first time that there is a mountain covered with snow in Iran. But I know It's splendid history.^^
