Let's Meet Up San Diego - Saturday July 21, 1 PM
San Diego Steemit Meetup
It is time, my friends, to meet up again. We already had a few successful meetups in San Diego and it is high time to connect again.
Here is the short version - and stay tuned for the long version further down in this post.
- Date: Saturday, July 21, 2018
- Time: 1 PM
- Location: Park across the street from the San Diego Children's Museum
- Address: 200 W Island Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
The address is that of the Children's Museum.
Why This Location?
- It is close to the Convention Center where Comic Con is going on at that time. Some of the Comic-Con Steemians can stroll over.
- It is close to Seaport Village in case we all decide to eat together or do something there.
- It is close to the Trolley station. And did I mention that Comic-Con is happening and it might be best to take the Trolley?
- It is right across from the Children's Museum. Maybe the Steeminans with families can make it a day trip and take a break from the museum to hang out with us.
- If you happen to like to dress up like Superman or Wonderwoman when you go to Steemit Meetups, you will fit right in 🤪
The Plan for 1 PM
There is no plan besides meeting and visiting. Either bring a snack or a lunch. The museum cafe has beverages and lunch offerings. Or, if we all want to go somewhere together, we can do that too. The Bigger Plan
Let's meet up at my house -especially those of you who are coming from a distance away and all take the Trolley together to the meetup. Target is to leave at 11 AM. We can get off at different stops and take pictures so we all have lots of material to write many posts.
After we come back, we grill and have a potluck dinner together.
Those interested in this part of the fun and games need to join the SoCalSteemit discord and I will DM information when you are confirmed to participate.
The even Bigger Plan
At past meetups, we have talked about a garden day. So, why not combine the meetup with that. We can either do a few hours Saturday afternoon or plan for Sunday. If you are from out of town, you are welcome to pitch a tent in the backyard. If anyone is interested - let me know in the comments. I am looking at you @madpotters LOL
