Steemfest 2 adventures

Lily the curious hedgehog in Lisbon [originally posted on blockchain 09/13/2017]

I arrived in Lisbon 2nd of November, evening and went straight to Snookers club festivities. All the way there I was trying to convince myself not to turn around, freak out and run away due to my social anxiety. It took all my courage to turn around the corner where I already could hear cheerful Steemians outside chatting away. With a shy “Hi.” I passed them to enter the building.I am pretty sure there were some people I should have recognized, but to be honest as a newbie (yes, I still count as one), I did not. Over three hundred Steemians. Strangers, crazies and lovely people from all around the world with at least one thing in common - Steemit. Still tag less, there were few to actually verify/recognize me which was a pleasant surprise. @gtg took some good convincing though, hehe.

Conference day 2 venue was in lovely, green location, with plenty of room to practice acroyoga with @karensuestudios and @acromott between talks, snacks and lunch.

Some talks were really technical, I tried my best to keep up. One of them was called Scaling Steemit With Python  presented by @layz3r, @justinw was concerned that their talk was too boring, while even though I had almost no clue about technical side of it, they had made sure to include witty jokes for non-techies like me. My favorite talk of the day! BTW guys, you do insanely amazing job!
A Night of Steem, @sneak played some really nice music, happy Steemians dancing around, having absolute blast. I was in love with the place. Must be those bulbs.

All that regular running prior really helped with Lisbon’s uphills and downhills, such a beautiful and colorful city to wander around. Something to discover on every corner.

In the white plastic bag we have the second best Pastel De Natas. They were creamy and delicious!


Paper won’t bite was displayed at Art at Steemfest at LX Factory, yay! [originally posted 07/18/2017, it took about a week to finish fluffy baby version of Juka, she approved by giving it a paw high five]

I will try to keep this short. I really enjoyed my time at Steemfest and Lisbon and met a lot of nice people and fellow Steemians. It was really lovely to meet OCD team with whom I am working with on daily basis - @gmuxx, @anomadsoul, @roxane and @meanmommy33. Thank you @roelandp and the team for creating such an amazing event for all of us.
