THE DIARY GAME: 6th AUGUST, 2020. FOR MY GOOD

A very Good evening to all steemians!

welcome to my diary today

I woke up today by 5:14am, I saw that the day is not yet bright, so I just lay on the bed with an open mind. No thoughts managed to come through.

I came out of the room at about 6:29am full of energy and hungry too. We did our morning devotion anchored by my brother and I just sat on the chair playing game.

My mom said isn't it too early, but I didn't answer. My plan was to exhaust the 20% battery life I had in my phone so that when BEDC restores the light by 9:00am I will just charge the phone

Now its 9:00am, the lights have not been restored, my phone is down, my eyes are now red. BEDC decided to punish me.

Few mins later my dad called my mom and told her to send the money I was to send on Saturday but was not successful, or better still redraw it.

I was like:

no, let me send it, I don't want to go out today.

And she simply said

it your choice, as long as the money gets to him.

So I decided to go withdraw it, in that way I will pass through my friends house. I got ready and left. I was not happy because I will not be able to shot pictures, in the location I visited.

I reached my friends place at (2nd east circular road, 2 street from my street.), he was at home doing nothing, and I asked him to come with me to the bank(fidelity bank sapele road branch). He agreed.

He took me through some roads it called (short cuts) and we got to the bank 2x faster than I used to before.
And the journey was so quick, also because we talked to and fro, when we were coming back, I was talking about the light,

And he said they have light, even when I came to his house, there was light. And I didn't waste anytime in bringing my phone to charge at his house when I got home from the bank.

It past 2:00pm and am hungry again, but am in my friends place. No dont ask. I won't eat at my friends place, am not use to it. especially drinking water outside the house.

Me and my friend talked for some time until he went outside to check on his siblings. These are some of the topics we talked about;

ASUU demanding 1.3 trillion naira from federal government, so they will call off their ongoing strike.

We talked about our upcoming youth convention coming up next week Friday

we talked about jupeb, and

we talked about how connection is frustrating the life's of the intelligent students who pass exams but denied admission

Then he put on the T.V and he was watching an India film while I was busy writing my dairy.

I wrote to an extent that I joined to watch the film. It was interesting, but the language was in Hindi and has an English caption. Oh! I didn't see the title.

Since all this time BEDC has not restored the light in our street. So it 3:00pm and I was still in my friends place when I saw that they have brought the light in my street.

Now how did I know when I was not even outside? The answer is
my friend house uses the light from 1st east circular and the light of 2nd east circular, so when 1st east circular has light, 2nd east circular will not.

My friend connected light by himself from a surmay next to them, they use the surmay generator, and their light because the surmay uses 1st east circular light and we uses 2nd east circular light.

When they brought the light I saw it from their indicator, and my brother called me because they have brought the light.

I went home and I saw The Rock in a movie titled THE GAME PLAN

It was awesome. One thing I observe about THE ROCK is that, he acts most of his film with kids. Or maybe it the ones I have watched.

Coming to the end of the movie, where the happy endings happen, BEDC cut the power, they took the light. damn it!

Afterwards I just took my phone and complete writing my dairy, I wasn't alone. I was with a plate of fried corn and groundnuts preferably called ( guguru and groundnuts).
