Kill Them With Kindness

It's easy to hate, but it takes strength to be gentle and kind. Kindness is free, sprinkle that stuff everywhere!

Have you ever walked in a room only to feel like your energy is being drained out? Ever felt like certain people are bringing you down just by getting close to them? Maybe it is something about their aura; the outcome of a never-ending process of building up negative emotions and thoughts. Or maybe it is just their attitude with no reason whatsoever. Perhaps some people were simply born that way. It is what it is.

I've always found it hard to deal with pathological negativity. I'm an empath and therefore I instantly experience the vibes and feelings of people close to me; an extremely exhausting and dangerous property. Growing up my empathy levels were going up so it started getting out of control. If you had a terrible day you could easily f!ck up mine as well. You could transmit your anger or disappointment and desperation to me just by sharing a few words about your day. Or even just by being around. Feeling everyone so intensely and caring about anything and everything can be a nightmare, especially if you're surrounded by people that are drowning in negativity and anger.

Treat everyone with politeness. Not because they are nice, but because you are.

I've always felt the need to understand. I believe that human behaviour can always be explained using reason. People tend to hurt others after being hurt themselves. A person performing negative actions is actually in need of help from my humble point of view. We need to focus on what caused them to act that way and try to realize what it is that they're suffering from. What caused this pain that ignited the fire of anger and wrath. Maybe they have experienced too much negativity and have had enough. Maybe the world's rudeness got the best out of them and shaped their personality.

So what can we do? What is the antidote to rudeness? Its polar opposite: Kindness!

You can't beat fire with fire. You need water in order to stop it from destroying everything that's left. Likewise, you need kindness if you are to fight against the world's negativity and anger. By absorbing anger and exhibiting similar behaviour, you're only making things worse. You're only feeding the evil. You need to starve negativity to death by only creating and sharing kindness. Do not emit signals of low frequency. If the world is sending you hate, you should respond with love. Neutralize all negative vibes with positivity and love. You should treat every person that's been drowning in negativity as a victim of their own misconceptions of the world.

Kill them with kindness and bury them with a smile.

People are being rude only because they are suffering inside. Nobody has time for any sort of negativity when life is blessed. Let's try to listen to others in order to understand and face their negativity with kindness. I used to argue a lot or even keep negative people out of my life as I thought there's not much I could actually do to save them from themselves; now I do realize I not only have the power to help them but I have a duty to do so as well. Being positive in a negative situation is leadership.

Awesome post.

Ever felt like certain people are bringing you down just by getting close to them?

I am not sure if you ever thought that being "brought down" is your reaction to an external stimuli and since it is yours you can have another reaction.

I'm glad you liked my post!
Thanks for leaving a thoughtful comment and resteeming~

I can see what you're talking about, it's definitely up to me; it all has to do with my empathy levels though.

i don't know i think some people can understand even if you are kindest person. ofc i treat everyone with kindness but at certain point, the based on their behavior either i keep my distance or try to help them. my experience showed me that i a very good judge of people so i understand pretty well what is behind the rudeness some people have. Anyway your post was very good and keep it up like that!

Thanks for reading and leaving a nice response! I'm glad you liked my post!
I believe we need to focus on what is causing people to be rude and try to understand them. Maybe we can create a better world that way!
