The night sky this summer
Dear Steemians,
Today I present you: The night sky this summer
This chart as a watch is for what we can see from the northern hemisphere of the Earth.
The events of the early summer are on the left.
The sky at the end of summer is projected to the right.
What is near the Earth is shown in the lower half circle.
Constellations and meteor rains can be seen in the largest semicircle, being farthest from Earth.
This summer Jupiter will be visible after sunset in June.
In July and August we have Venus that will be visible in the evening sky.
Mars is visible until the end of July.
A full moon eclipse will be visible at the end of July.
The stars Deneb, Vega and Altair that form the Summer Triangle will be seen during the night for the summer.
The Perseids meteor shower will reach the maximum on August 12-13, as usual.
