For Mountain Monday

(I say that stuff every week, and every week some of you think a joke about mountains? What is he talking about? Ok, listen up... WHY ARE MOUNTAINS ALWAYS FUNNY? Answer: BECAUSE THEY'RE SO HIGH! haha! so there! )

Now, where was I? Oh yes...mountains. This week I'm posting some mountains you can see from here because I don't feel like travelling. I'm going to need a zoom lens...

Like here:

If you go over behind those trees you'll find there is twenty miles of water to cross before you can get to the Olympic Mountains in Washington.

In the immediate area we have a couple of 'mountains' that are more like hills... I'll take you to the top of Mt. Tolmie for a peak at the sunset:

Sigh... My silly camera wants to focus on the grass. Let's try again. Here I'm looking more or less north. Somewhere over there is the mainland and the city of Vancouver.

Next is another tall hill... Mt. Douglas as seen from Mt. Tolmie.

If we hop on my magic carpet and fly over to the top of Mt. Doug, we can see more mountains, but you know what? How about we just up here sit here and watch the sunset? That's always a great thing to do on a Mountain Monday!
