Tree Tuesday: Celebrating spring with May tree
MayDay is or Day of Love is originally celebrated on 2nd of May, but we already came together at the lake of Arló to pre-celebrate it. Celebration focuses to a young tree that people decorate with colored ribbons, then swirling around, drumming and singing cheerful songs. This is a real joy of fun from ancient times, far earlier than Christianity. Yes, this is a pagan holyday, but the Latin word "paganus" means "rural", not "religionless" or "barbarian". Our ancient religion is called "Yotengrit", where Yotengrit is the endless and ultimate reality, everything came from this. It's main principle is good neighbourhood, we are responsible for each other and for our environment. In Yotengrit, woman and man complement each other, mutually assisting, loving, respecting each other.
