Fog over the Tasman Sea

in #landscapephotography8 years ago (edited)

When I was still going to school, I did an exchange year in Tasmania. Two years ago, I returned to visit my friends and host family and to see more of this amazing island.
With my Tasmanian friends, I went on a camping trip to Southwest National Park, which encompasses some of the most remote areas in Tasmania. We were camping at Cockle Creek, which is close to the southernmost point of Tasmania and the only part of Southwest National Park accessible by car. In the morning, fog was hovering over the golden waters of the Tasman Sea.

Such an amazing picture, really beautiful!

Thank you! Thanks for commenting, hope to see you around more often!

Perfect view! Nice catching of the golden hour;)

We visited my uncle in Tasmania a few years ago and absolutely love it! I can't wait to go back. We didn't make it to the Southwest National Park but we saw a lot of the East and North coast as well as some bits of the interior.

I've posted photos of Wine Glass Bay so far and have many others I will get around to at some point.

Your photo does justice to such a beautiful place.

Wine Glass Bay is such a beautiful place! The West Coast is also really beautiful, although it is raining there most of the time.

nice work and photography all the best:-)

you are more than welcome :-) i like to read and see posts meaning all the best in this beautifull platform.

Beautiful shot! That’s why you know a lot about Australia, hmm... :) you’ve studied here. You are from Germany right? I’ve never been to Tasmania yet, high on my travel list!

Haha, exactly. I had an amazing time studying in Australia, also interesting how the school system compares to the system we have in Germany.
Tasmania probably is my favourite place in Australia, the nature is just so amazing! You should really go, it is not far from Victoria! I think they even have flights from Melbourne for 30$

Cool to know! I actually live on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It’s a road trip this time to the South :)

I travelled from Melbourne to Cairns along the coast myself, such a beautiful trip!

Oh man I'm jealous you were there! I love your "Joss Sticks in Colourful Temple" post - super colorful. Gave you a follow and looking forward toward seeing your future posts. Greetings from Boston USA. 🇺🇸

Wow, really beautiful atmosphere. I really like to see the sunset when dusk. Moreover, I saw it while on the beach. But the photo you posted was beyond me. I never saw him. Where it looks like steam coming out of the water. @jpphotography

It was a really cool view :) Thanks for your comment!

Yeah, your welcome and thanks for replying to my comment.
