When the Lord is in us and we surrender our will to Him, evil desires are tempered by His power, the more we know Him the more we want to do what pleases Him because the Holy Spirit guides us and helps us, at all times His word is present in our minds, guarding us and freeing us from all danger, helping us to make the best decisions.

God is always working on our behalf, and part of that work is to help us in our weakness, once we have put our trust in Him we will never be ashamed as long as we stand firm in that trust and commitment. Then you'll do well in everything you do.

That's great. He's always working on our behalf. Although He had given us the victory, He's still seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us.
