"The Brown Goat"

Steemit Sandwich Contest - Week 80

This week I am back in the #SteemitSandiwichContest hosted by @jaybird. It has been a solid 12 weeks since I last shared a sandwich, so I'm very overdue. Today I made a breakfast sandwich called "The Brown Goat". It's a funky take on the classic bacon, egg and cheese.

Ingredients

1 Pumpernickel Bagel
2 Fried Eggs
3 Strips of Bacon
Goat Cheese
Salt/Pepper

Step 1: Fry the Bacon

Fry up a few slices of bacon until nicely crisp.

Step 2: Toast the Bagel

Cut open a pumpernickel bagel and toast it lightly. It won't be a brown goat without the brown, so be sure to sure to use pumpernickel!

Step 3: Fry the Eggs

Fry up two eggs. I prefer my yolk nice and runny, so I make them over-easy/over-medium style.

Step 4: Melt the Goat

Place a load of goat cheese on one side of the bagel and pop it back into the toaster. Let it melt up a bit.

Step 5: Add the Bacon

Smoosh the bacon pieces into the creamy melted goat cheese.

Step 6: Add the Eggs

Add the two eggs to the other side of the bagel.

Step 7: Enjoy!

Put the sandwich together and enjoy!
